Leeds Chartered Accountant Students' Society (LCASS) is the society which represents those people training to be chartered accountants in the Leeds area. Any individual under a training contract with the ICAEW (Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales) or with ICAS Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland) is automatically a member of their local student society. Please note that ICAS students are not automatically subscribed to LCASS, this must be done by individual firms.
The society's organisation is run by the committee, made up of students from firms across the region, and they represent you as provisional members of the institute.
Our aim as a committee is to enhance students' personal development and improve networking skills within the accountancy community through the organisation of social and work-related events throughout the calendar year.
